She also incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), depending on each client’s unique needs and goals. Her clinical work often begins with building coping skills and psychoeducation, then moves toward deeper emotional processing and insight to support long-term growth and healing.

Her therapy style is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and tailored to the individual—balancing skill-building with space for emotional exploration. Dr. Luna’s clients often describe her as warm, grounded, and genuine. She believes that healing happens not by avoiding discomfort, but by learning to face it with the right tools and support. Therapy with Dr. Luna is focused, thoughtful, and empowering—centered on helping clients reconnect with themselves and their values.

  • Outside of the therapy room, Dr. Luna enjoys hiking with her dog Kai, spending time in nature, playing pickleball, horseback riding, dancing, trying new restaurants, working out, and taking care of her plants. She values balance, play, and being present in life’s small moments.
